This online workshop is for all those who want to develop their reviewing skills. After watching the thematic block of films “Short(s) about COVID-19”, the participants of the workshop will write texts about the presented films, which will be discussed afterwards by Dr. Łukasz Jasina, giving valuable tips and advice. Selected reviews will be published in the Festival Journal on the LFF website.

ATTENTION: The participation in the workshops is conditioned on watching the films from “Short(s) about COVID-19” block of films. The screening will be available on 19.11.2021 in a stationary form in the Centre for Culture in Lublin (17:30) or online at Kultureo.pl (17:30-22:00). The classes with Dr. Jasina will be held online.

PhD Łukasz Jasina – historian, journalist, lawyer, film scholar, analyst, radio and television commentator. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Graduated in law, history and journalism from the Catholic University of Lublin and Collegium Invisibile. He received his doctoral degree from the Art Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Former employee of the Institute of Central and Eastern Europe in Lublin, Institute of Journalism and Social Communication at the Catholic University of Lublin, Museum of Polish History in Warsaw and the Polish Institute of International Affairs. Since 2018 he hosted film lectures before the screenings of the “Thursday Film Club”, “Cinema Man’s Evening” on TVP Kultura, “Literary Evening” of Radio Dla Ciebie and the program “Lucky Luke czyli Jasina i Adamski o filmie i nie tylko”. He was also a host of “Klub Trójki” on Channel 3 of the Polish Radio and a programme “W kinie w Lublinie” in Polish Radio Lublin.
