POEMS OF MARIA KONOPNICKA: ANIMATION WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN OVER 9. PART. 2

An opportunity for creative fun inspired by poetry. We invite you to learn the basics of stop motion animation using plasticine. The participants will illustrate a selected poem for children by Maria Konopnicka. It will be an opportunity to spend time creatively and have fun. The classes will be conducted by Monika Kuczyniecka.
Monika Kuczyniecka – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association. In her work, she uses plasticine, with the help of which – in combination with the time-lapse technique – she creates colorful film universes pulsating with life. She specializes in the broadly understood “Plasticine Design” (animation, illustration, small sculptural form). The author of many animated music videos, for example for Renata Przemyk, Bajzel, Jerzy Igor, Czesław Mozil, Voo Voo, the Dagadana band, Rafał Ryterski, an adaptation of Andersen’s fairy tales (for the Robotic Theater at the Copernicus Science Center). For several years, she has also run stop-motion animation workshops for children, teenagers and adults, based mainly on her own artistic activities. Since 2019, she has been a co-creator of the audiovisual trio ALA KRYSZTAŁ (along with Radek Drwęcki, Marcin Karnowski and Monika Kuczyniecka).
Participation in the workshops is free of charge. Classes are intended for children aged over 9 and consist of two combined parts (on November 25th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on November 26th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). People who want to enroll their children for classes, please register in advance via the form. Information needed for participation in classes will be sent to emails provided during the registration process.
Registration closes on November 23rd at 8 p.m. The number of participants is limited.
