FOCUS: FEATURE FILMS
Focus: Feature films is a competition of full-length acting films with distinctively original style. Both young and experienced filmmakers will compete for the prize. This year, 8 films from 6 countries will take part in the competition.

To celebrate the 75th jubilee of Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała, before the screening of each feature film, we will present the latest short animations of AFS studio.

Transfer, dir. Krzysztof Kiwerski (Poland) 2021, 7’, 16+
The effort invested in gaining freedom sometimes brings far-reaching results, and the apparent help in achieving it is seldom disinterested. Total personality transfer is never complete.

Lucas, dir. Álex Montoya (Spain) 2021, 91’, 18+
Lucas just lost his father and everything around him is starting to crumble. One day he meets Alvaro, who offers him money in exchange for some pictures. Álvaro will use them to create fake accounts in social media to “just talk”, he assures, with underage girls. Desperate for money, Lucas takes the deal. Film nominated for Goya Award. Polish premiere.
