It is hard to find a topic more popular in art than love. Could you possibly still say anything interesting about it then? The authors of these films prove that there is a lot more to say.

 

Almost, dir. Paul-André Robin (France) 2022, 28’, 15+
Yann, a somewhat lost guy fleeing his life in Normandy without luggage, is hitchhiked by Claire, a sick and disillusioned doctor, returning from his sister’s wedding. During this trip that takes them to Paris, they talk to each other, about their lives, their fears, about the love that seems to them only an old chimera. Polish premiere.

 

Turbo Love, dir. Alicja Jasina (Poland) 2021, 7’, 15+
Olivia – an aspiring love couch guru – makes a tutorial about Turbo Love which is a computer software that is supposed to give one full control of their love life. However, the application starts to get out of control. Film awarded at “Prowincjonalia” PFF.

 

Headfish, dir. Jakub Prysak (Poland) 2021, 24’, 18+
Eryk is a young lad, who gave away his career as a photographer and decided to move to a small industrial town. He is a cow milker at the Milky Paradise dairy and his friend Marissa, a sex worker in a low-grade nightclub, who want to find their place in the world. Film presented at e.g. Nowe Horyzonty IFF and Etiuda&Anima IFF.

On the Day of Music in the Tuileries Gardens, Joseph runs into Joséphine – his ex girlfriend. He tries to hold back the time and reinvent their relationship. Polish premiere.

Diane fantasizes about Pierre, who works with her at the gas station. When she wins a trip for two around France, she decides to invite him along. But she wasn’t aware that Pierre already has someone quite special in his life…
