Mateusz Demski is a journalist and film critic, a graduate of film studies in Krakow. He publishes in “Przekroj”, “Przegląd”, as well as in the Czas Kultury, Dwutygodnik, NOIZZ.pl and newonce.net portals, among others. To his credit, he has had numerous conversations and interviews with award-winning filmmakers at international festivals, including Bong Joon-ho, Laura Poitras, Gaspar Noé, and Béla Tarr.
Grzegorz Jaroszuk – graduate and PhD at the Directing Department of the National Film School in Lodz. Director and screenwriter of the following films: short film “Frozen Stories”, which won more than 30 awards at festivals in Locarno, Los Angeles, Clermont-Ferrand, “Kebab and Horoscope” shown and awarded at Karlovy Vary and Raindance FF, among others. The film “Dear Ones” was shown in Karlovy Vary, in Gdynia and at the Off Camera Festival. At the Lublin Film Festival 2021, the film received the award for best feature film.
In addition to his original films, he directed episodes of the series “Dead End” and “BrzydUla 2” and was co-writer of the feature film “Fanfik”
In his work as a screenwriter and director, Grzegorz Jaroszuk has developed a recognizable style of combining absurdist humor and black comedy with the ability to build characters in such a way that even the least obvious dilemmas become emotionally important to the viewer.
Magdalena Wleklik – screenwriter for film, television and radio. Winner of screenwriting and playwriting competitions, including: Villa Decius 2023, Main Prize Script Wars 2022, Main Prize Audioteka 2022, 3rd prize Wyobraź Sobie 2022. Graduate of the Directing Department of Screenwriting and the Cinematography Department of Television Production at PWSFTviT in Łódź. Co-founder of the Biblioteka Scenariuszy Filmowych. Chairwoman of the Screenwriters’ Circle of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
