For a warm and expressive film that tenderly shows the emotions of a little boy who discovers that he will soon cease to be the most important person in his family.

For thrilling and perfect creation of the world conveyed in a way that only animation can do.
The Visit, dir. Mateusz Jarmulski (Special mention)
For a moving film about understanding between different species.

In Between Glass and Walls, dir. Razan Hassan
For a loving portrait of a very special person and for making us realize that no matter who we are, we chase the same dreams.

Inside, dir. Yann Chapotel
For showing contemporary, interpersonal communication, during the tumult and lack of understanding, and for a form inspired by ‘70s artistic experiments.

For crossing the border of satire on the reality of the Polish People’s Republic and for expressive acting performances.
FOCUS: EMOTIONS
Datsun, dir. Mark Albiston
For the fact that the American cinema that we love can be made also outside America. For a great film, and especially for wonderful cinematography and editing.
Sincerity, dir. Adam Porębowicz (Special mention)
For the rough and not so obvious showing of crossing the boundary between childhood and adulthood. For evoking emotions that concern each and all of us.
FOCUS: THEME
The Unknown Soldier, dir. Alexis Loukakis
For presenting a serious topic in a light manner and pointing out that in the end we are all equal.
The Last Day of Patriarchy, dir. Olmo Omerzu (Special mention)
For a slightly unexpected beginning and even more unexpected plot twist.
FOCUS: FEATURE FILMS
Financial award in the amount of 4000 PLN
Mother of Apostles, dir. Zaza Buadze
For a moving film that reflects the horror of present times and for portraying a situation to which no parent will ever be indifferent.
The Den, dir. Beatrice Baldacci (Special mention)
For showing a situation in which the utopian vacation can quickly turn into a difficult life test.

Censor of Dreams, dir. Leo Berne, Raphaël Rodriguez
For introducing the architects of dreams who make life’s most difficult tragedies easier to accept, while making us laugh.
