LUBLIN MEDIA MEETINGS: CULTURAL TOURISM – PRACTICES, CHALLENGES, PERSPECTIVES

Despite the pandemic difficulties, the film industry remains one of the most adjustable cultural sectors. Thanks to the work of festival organizers, cities such as French Clermont Ferrand or Swiss Winterthur have become known to the film industry as places to visit each and every year. How do film festivals affect tourism? Can cities build their brand around a consistent cultural policy? What motivates industry representatives to travel to different events? How to consciously organize an international film festival or promote a film in the light of the environmental challenges we face? How does digitization of festivals affect tourism? In an open conversation, representatives of the film industry will share their experiences and predictions for the future in the area of cultural tourism.
