Lovers’ Story: fragment(s), dir. Marta Irene Giotti (Italy, Republic of Korea) 2025, 20’, 16+
Loosely inspired by Roland Barthes’ “A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments”. The story follows the love lives of three couples in Seoul. So Yon and Chung Myeong navigate the delicate first steps of connection, Choo Yon and Kim confront the challenges of jealousy that threaten their bond. Meanwhile, Mimì and Don Yul grapple with the pain of a final goodbye.
