Focus: Storytelling is a competition of mid-length and full-length feature productions with a clearly original creative approach, looking for original forms of narration. Both young and experienced filmmakers will compete for the prize. This year, 9 films from 8 countries will take part in the competition.

Rojin, a heartbroken young woman suffering from depression, is preparing for an important exam. If she passes it, she will have a chance for independence. Otherwise, she will face an arranged marriage. Her older sister Shilan, subordinated to her despotic husband, tries to help Rojin at all costs. However, that is not easy in a corrupt country that ignores women’s rights. Film awarded at Karlovy Vary IFF.
