FAMILY MATTERS

No family is the same, although they all appear to be alike. Sometimes the family relationships are supportive, sometimes quite the opposite. It does not change the fact that we all have to find ourselves in them, no matter how we define the family.

A Little Bit of Paradise, dir. Andrzej Cichocki (Poland) 2020, 19’, 13+
A documentary story about a Silesian family. In an out-of-the-way corner of a metropolis, they reveal their world to the watcher and share moments from their lives, which are inextricably bound up with the nature around them. Film awarded at e.g. Krakow Film Festival.
