After a failed fireworks show in a seaside town, an experienced pyrotechnician gets frustrated. He attacks his daughter, who has returned to work two years earlier for the family business. The confrontation on the beach leads to heavy fires – both literally and figuratively.

A young psychotherapist desperately tries to regain control of his life after a breakup and an unfortunate incident. The therapeutic techniques he’s studied for years fail him, as does a “mind-clearing” attempt to complete a climbing route. Loud renovations next door are rattling his already troubled mind, and a new, unusual patient begins the final work of dismantling his psyche.
