Thanks to your films, the LFF audience has experienced many wonderful moments full of emotion and reflection.
We announce the call for entries for this year’s, 19th edition of LFF. We look forward to seeing your films and to the moment when we will be able to present them to the audience.
At the same time we would like to inform about our decision to continue the boycott films produced in the Russian Federation and to waive the fees in the paid entry period for films from Ukraine.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DATES
The festival will take place from 21.11 to 29.11.2025 at the Centre for Culture in Lublin.
Free film submissions: from 01.03 to 31.03.2025
Paid submissions:
01.04 to 02.05.2025 – $6 fee per film
03.05 to 02.06.2025 – $20 fee per film
Deadline for submissions: 02.06.2025
COMPETITIONS
4 short film competitions Focus: Transgression, Community, Children, Animation.
Medium-length and full-length film competition Focus: Borders
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Films produced no earlier than 1st of January 2023.
Max 2 films by one director.
In short films competitions: any type of film up to 30 minutes.
In the Focus: Borders competition: live action, animated and hybrid films with a duration of at least 40 minutes.
Submissions via the FilmFreeway platform.
AWARDS
Lublin Film Award: Short Film – 2,500 euros
Lublin Film Award: Long Film – 2,500 euros
Prizes in each jury-run short film competition – PLN 2,000
Lublin Audience Award – PLN 4,000
