Short and feature films have been awarded on 10th November during the Festival’s gala.
The Jury: Piotr Kotowski, Michał J. Zabłocki, Bartosz Żurawiecki and Kaja Klimek awarded the following films with Golden Anteaters:
In the competition Little Anteaters the film

for a funny and accessible ecology lesson for the little ones
In the competition Masters of Animations the film
Nothing Happens, dir. Michelle Kranot, Uri Kranot (Denmark) 2017, 12’
for evocative atmosphere and provocative questions about the mystery of fate
In the competition Masters of Observation the film
Sisters, dir. Michał Hytroś (Polska) 2017, 19’
for unwavering optimism and approaching each day with humility
In the competition Masters of Offbeat Films the film

for valuable satire on modern world wanna-be dictators

for an original take on the subject of death and at the same time a story full of humour and lyricism
The Jury decided to give the Grand Prix of Feature Films Competitions – 5 000 PLN to the film
Pomegranate Orchard, dir. Ilgar Najaf (Azerbaijan) 2017, 90’
for a poignant portraiture of a traditional family’s breaking apart under pressure of the sociological and cultural changes

Organisers Special Mention went to
A Heart of Love, dir. Łukasz Ronduda (Poland) 2017, 78’
For crossing borders in combining various audiovisual works, which paradoxically turns out to be an ideal means to tell about difficult male-female relationships.
The Audience Award went to
