A girl whose mother has just died wanders through the misty mountains above the Black Sea. Unexpectedly, she meets a woman returning to the area after years of absence. Although they are complete strangers, they share a brief connection in their solitude.

Dear Louise, dir. Rémi Brachet (France) 2024, 25’, 15+
Louise was the director’s great grandmother. She was murdered by her husband in 1949. If she had lived, she would have turned 70 in 1969 and taken her first vacation. Her great-grandson wonders what it might have looked like.
