DESCRIPTION:Focus: Storytelling is a competition of mid-length and full-length feature productions with a clearly original creative approach, looking for original forms of narration. Both young and experienced filmmakers will compete for the prize. This year 8 films will take part in the competition.\n\n \nNext to nothing, dir.  Grzegorz Dębowski (Poland) 2023, 93’, 15+\nA group of farmers organizes a protest outside the house of an MP who, contrary to his earlier promises, voted against their interests. When a human body is discovered in the manure they dump on his front yard, suspicion immediately falls on Jarek, the leader of the protest, even though the deceased was his closest friend. Determined to clear his name, Jarek launches his own investigation, uncovering the truth behind his friend’s death and exposing the real mindset of the villagers around him.\nThe winner of 6 awards at KFDF „Młodzi i film” and 6 awards at Gdynia PFF.\nAfter the screening, we invite you to join a discussion.\n\n\n
