Jakub Skoczeń (Poland) 2022, 88’, 16+\nDecember, 1981. Marianna, a fanatic Catholic, decides to use the baptism of her youngest grandson to reunite her children who have been quarreling for years. She’s unexpectedly prevented from doing so by General Jaruzelski, who declares martial law that day. Wanting to bring the family reunion to an end, Marianna decides to hide the truth about the situation in the country from her children. This seemingly small lie will trigger an avalanche of unexpected events that will be difficult to stop.
