Both young and experienced filmmakers will compete for the prize. This year, 8 films from 6 countries will take part in the competition.\nTo celebrate the 75th jubilee of Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała, before the screening of each feature film, we will present the latest short animations of AFS studio.\n \nThe Curse, reż. Piotr Kabat (Poland) 2020, 8’, 15+\nThe two creatures live in seemingly unrelated realities. Little do they know that their absurd behavior makes a great impact on the realities in which they exist. What is a free and careless existence for one of the creatures, is a struggle for survival for the other.\n\n \n\nApokawixa, dir. Xawery Żuławski (Poland) 2022, 120’, 15+\nA group of high school graduates tired of lockdowns decide to organize a wild party at the seaside. Despite of frightfully increasing condensation of cyanobacteria in the Baltic Sea and alarming cases of infections everything seems to go according to the plan – the beach, dances, sex, alcohol, romantic infatuations and disappointment.
