DESCRIPTION:The Women’s World appeared in the LFF programme for the 100th anniversary of Polish women obtaining civil rights. It was supposed to draw attention to the problems that women from all around the world have to face every day. Their situation is not getting better and there are still many films being made about it. This is an important trend in world cinematography, so every year we choose particularly interesting productions that provide a cross-sectional look at it.\n \nQuisiera no sentir todo este ruido, dir. Sahar Sotoodeh (Germany) 2024, 20’, 16+\nSixteen-year-old Yasi is visiting Tehran for a short time. The official purpose of the trip is to take the IELTS exam – a test assessing English-language proficiency. Unofficially, she is trying to illegally terminate an unwanted pregnancy.
